Martin Seligman’s is a great resource for self-evaluations. I recommend learning about your strengths by taking the VIA Survey for Character Strengths. is a site with several helpful personality tests. I am particularly fond of the Attachment Styles questionnaire.

Need technology tools as a therapist? Check out Sylvain Roy’s blog. He reviews all manner of mobile apps for client care and professional practice.

Need ideas about weight loss? Check out Balanced Weight Management. You won’t believe all the resources you’ll find here. The sites owner Bob Wilson, claims, “You will discover how to become your own mindful and compassionate lifestyle self-manager as you cultivate twelve essential skills that create life-long well-being, a healthy weight, and a more vibrant friskiness.” Who could pass that up?! Bob is a playful and engaging man who has accumulated a wealth of information on his site.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a powerful and effective therapeutic approach. There are several wonderful sites offering resources and links. The Psychotherapy Brown Bag is one such site. Michael Anestis, Ph.D. writes a very informative blog.

She specializes in helping parents of children with sensory integration challenges, autism, physical disabilities or developmental delays. She also works with adoptive, blended, and “regular” families helping them create the kind of family environment they desire.
