Ten Ways for Teens to Improve Their Chances for a Great Romance

Wednesday February 11, 2015 1 pm, PST In this webinar I will identify ten important ways to help teens create a fantastic romance. These strategies will prevent bad choices and decrease the odds of a shattered heart. Youth need clarity about these essential features of healthy dating and romance. Help the teens in your life find healthy and enjoyable partnership. Helpful concepts include;

  • Get to know what matters most to you.
  • Date someone who doesn’t need a make-over.
  • Know all about soothing and comforting yourself.
  • Take off the rose colored glasses and have a realistic look.
  • Don’t ignore, minimize, or keep silent about your discomfort.
  • And so much more…

These and other concepts will be presented and discussed. Specific attention will be given to the skills for bringing these conversations into your work with teens. The webinar is part of The Dibble Institute’s Wednesday Webinars Series. You can register for FREE by going here.

I really enjoyed your presentation today. You are incredibly creative and I appreciated your willingness to share your ideas with all of us. I plan to try some of them with my work as an elementary school counselor! Many presenters are good at identifying the problem, but few give good suggestions/skills about how to solve them…you did! Thanks again. Terri Mazzilli-Roth MSW, LCSW Professional School Counselor

Elsbeth Martindale brings enthusiasm and creativity to this workshop as she generously shares over 60 tools to help clients find clarity.  I find these tools to be quite useful in my spiritual direction practice.

I didn’t want to let this day end without telling you again how much I enjoyed your workshop, and how much appreciate all the work you put into it! I found it very inspiring on so many levels. I very much appreciated your very content-driven style, and the sheer volume of what you gave us, so that we could pick and choose, rather than to dwell too long on each one topic.
